Always

Always.

were we to ruminate on this word a bit
we might see that it is bigger
than forever–

without fail
without reservation
without condition
without limit

Always.

without doubt
without intent
without vulnerability
without start
without end

Always.

if a word were a deity
it would be

Always.

I missed a whole bunch of these posts somehow. Unfortunate “always” is often thrown about carelessly….

I don’t think they are showing up in the reader anymore, or not reliably.

In regard to always, yes, it is an often abused word. I used to have a quote thing I made for IG that read, ‘Always is a promise; forever, merely a myth’.

If not a promise, then a decision, and perhaps both, but there are no unicorns living within the word.
