amber fire

don’t dare come near
with your delicate nature
your warm-breasted nurturance
nor your amber fire
burning pale skin
hope’s flame
held in cupped hands
against the eternal winds
don’t dare come near
with your white-lace fragility
your raised-dagger shadow
nor your soft-eyed honesty
I’ll only fall in love, again
and I’ve always known
my love(s)
will be the end
of me

    1. Thank you, Nancy. A lot of this you’re finding on twitter isn’t new. The website automatically launched older posts into cyberspace at random. As for the poem, true story. Thank you again 🙂
